Katherine (“Katie”) Borkowski joined Ahearn Jasco and Company in September 2006. Katie’s primary responsibilities are in the areas of accounting and taxation of small to medium size companies. Her accounting responsibilities include preparation of financial statements and tax returns. Katie also has significant experience in the areas of payroll and sales tax matters and has been involved in disclosure of certain foreign transactions including foreign bank accounts and controlled foreign corporations.
Katie obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University and also graduated from Broward College in 2007 with high honors where she earned an Associate of Arts Degree with a specialization in Accounting. While at Florida Atlantic University, Katie was inducted into The Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society in 2009 as well as Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society in 2010.
Katie is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Americen Institute of Certitfied Public Accountants.
